GM House is located in west suburban part of Zagreb, in the neighbourhoud of mostly individual houses. The location is on a slope, bounded by the street on two longer sides and entrances at two different levels. Specifics of the location determine the organization and design of the building, and for that reason section formed in a split-level house that fully follows the natural slope of the terrain. In order to harmonize with the nearby construction of family houses, total large volume divided into seven smaller units.

Dividing the volume in more smaller interconnected units result in the combination of the advantages of collective and individual housing. Overlapping the individual volumes created covered gaps for entrances and passages to the apartments.
The composition forms a series of full and empty space. Each unit contains a flat in two or three levels with a separate entrance directly from the outside, and large glazed surfaces on the streets of the north and south which ensures the transparency of the building.
