The House FN alongside with 14 other projects from Croatia was nominated for the famous Mies van der Rohe architectural award. The most prestigious European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award is awarded every two years and selects the most successful European architecture projects.
The main goal of Mies van der Rohe is the recognition and highlighting of excellence in the field of architecture as well as an important contribution of European professionals in the development of new concepts and technologies. The aim of the prize is to promote the profession and encourage young architects who start their careers throughout the European Union. The members of the jury are: President: Francis Rambert (Paris); Secretary: Lluís Hortet (Barcelona), director of the foundation Mies van der Rohe Ole Bouman (Rotterdam); Irena Fialová (Prague); Fulvio Irace (Milan); Luis M. Mansilla (Madrid); Vasa J. Perović (Ljubljana) and Carme Pinós (Barcelona).
