House FN was awarded the Drago Galić Award of the Association of Croatian Architects for the best residential building in 2007. From the text of the award: Does the house worth the annual Drago Galić Award for the most successful achievement in the field of residential architecture in the past year be the author s name, or will I quote last years explanation of the annual award as being stepping inside a residential typology, which we unreasonably call urban villas 10x10x10m and we will all agree that this is the latter. Growing up as a small wonder of the sub-ridge zone in the typology of a building with 4 to 6 apartments, which are almost always so large, this certainly maximally large house within the limits allowed by the crowded parameters of our plans shows how only the skill and knowledge of an architect make a difference.
